Are you a dynamic marketing professional with a passion for creating vibrant communities and redefining consumer habits? Poppins is on a mission to transform ownership into access, and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager (3-5 years of experience) to craft and execute strategies that amplify our brand’s vision and drive engagement. Our ideal candidate will bring our mission to life: grow our user base, nurture our community, and help make Poppins a love brand.
About the position
You’ll own and orchestrate our marketing engine with an exciting mix of strategy and execution, across multiple channels and touchpoints.
- Content & Brand
- Own the content strategy and calendar: ensure it aligns with goals, seasons, and cultural moments.
- Manage a content creator (intern/freelance) who executes on visuals, Instagram posts and community management
- Evolve the brand voice, tone, and storytelling to deepen emotional connection.
- Spot trends early, know how to ride them (or subvert them cleverly).
- Growth & Acquisition
- Build and execute acquisition strategies: both organic (SEO, partnerships, community) and paid (Meta Ads, influencers, etc.).
- Test, measure, and optimize campaigns
- Understand our audiences and where to find and activate them: who they are, where they live online, and what moves them.
- Activation & Retention
- Design and optimize activation flows inside and outside the app.
- Own CRM and lifecycle marketing
- Own CRM and lifecycle marketing: email sequences, push notifications, referral flows.
- Build and maintain a marketing automation calendar to nurture users across key moments.
- Community & Events
- Animate and grow the Poppins Club: our community of engaged users and local ambassadors.
- Create ways to spotlight users, build loyalty loops, and generate UGC.
- Organize events (IRL and digital) to energize and expand the community.
- Partnerships
- Source and manage brand partnerships (giveaways, co-marketing, content collabs) to increase brand awareness
- Activate strategic partnerships to reach new audiences and add value to the user experience (media, schools, etc)
6. Performance & Reporting
- Track, measure, and analyze performance across all channels: paid, owned, earned.
- Set and follow KPIs for acquisition, activation, retention, and campaign performance.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Branch, Brevo and other email platforms, CRM dashboards.
- Deliver clear, actionable reporting to the founders and broader team.
- Spot patterns, uncover insights, and turn learnings into strategy improvements.
The right fit?
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a startup or consumer-facing brand
- Comfortable across the full marketing stack
- Data-savvy and results-oriented, but also creative and instinctive when it counts
- Strong project manager: structured, autonomous, and dependable
- Deep cultural awareness: you know how to connect with younger, values-driven audiences
- Proficient in marketing analytics and campaign tracking tools (GA4, Meta Ads, email platforms, etc)
- Fluent in French and English, with a sharp pen and social media instinct
- Strong critical thinker: you ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and solve problems pragmatically
- Solid business acumen: you understand how marketing drives value and make decisions with impact in mind.
